Lyubov Kremlyova

Lyubov Kremlyova ( Russian Любовь Кремлёва , English transcription Lyubov Kremlyova ; born December 21, 1961 ) is a former Russian medium and long-distance runner .

In 1990 she was competing for the Soviet Union , fourth over 3000 m at the European Championships in Split . The following year she won bronze over the same distance at the World Indoor Championships in Seville , and in 1992 a silver medal followed in the 1500 m at the European Indoor Championships in Genoa , where she started for the United Team . Also over 1500 m she was Russia's fourth at the European Championships in Helsinki in 1994 .

In February 1995 she tested positive for anabolic steroids on a doping control . Although she was able to start shortly afterwards at the World Indoor Championships in Barcelona because the B sample had not yet been opened, and came in third place, she was subsequently disqualified and banned when the first test result was confirmed.

After her suspension, she was third in the 5000 m at the Goodwill Games in 1998 .
