Lola is a prefecture in the region Nzérékoré in Guinea with about 123,000 inhabitants. Like all Guinean prefectures, it is named after its capital, Lola .

The prefecture is located in the south of the country, bordering Liberia and the Ivory Coast , and covers an area of ​​4,219 km². Here on the border to the two neighboring countries is Mount Nimba , the highest point in the country.
