Pita (prefecture)
Pita is a prefecture located in the Mamou Region in Guinea with about 264,000 inhabitants. Like all Guinean prefectures, it is named after its capital, Pita .
The prefecture is located in the middle of the country in the mountains of Fouta Djallon and covers an area of 4,000 km².
