Siguiri is a prefecture in the Kankan Region in Guinea with about 243,000 inhabitants. Like all Guinean prefectures, it is named after its capital, Siguiri .

The prefecture is located in the east of the country, borders on Mali and covers an area of 19,750 km². This makes Siguiri the largest prefecture in Guinea in terms of area.

The Niger flows through Siguiri to Mali. There are gold deposits here that are being mined, but the miners are also considered a risk factor for the spread of HIV and AIDS in the region.
