Fria (prefecture)
Fria is a prefecture in the Boké region in Guinea with about 81,000 inhabitants. Like all Guinean prefectures, it is named after its capital, Fria .
The prefecture is located in the west of the country and covers an area of 2,175 km². In Fria there is a large bauxite deposit as well as the largest aluminum factory in Africa.
