Mali (prefecture)
Mali is a prefecture in the Labé region in Guinea with about 245,000 inhabitants. Like all Guinean prefectures, it is named after its capital, Mali .
geography
The prefecture is located in the north of the country in the mountains of Fouta Djallon . It borders the country of Mali and Senegal and covers an area of 8,800 km².
