Nzérékoré (prefecture)

Nzérékoré is a prefecture in the Nzérékoré region of the same name in Guinea with about 278,000 inhabitants. Like all Guinean prefectures, it is named after its capital, Nzérékoré , which is also the capital of the entire region.

The prefecture is located in the south of the country, on the border with Liberia , and covers an area of 3,781 km².
