Career

Louis Moult began his football career in his hometown near Stoke City . He made his professional debut for the club in August 2009 in the 2nd round of the English League Cup against Leyton Orient when he was substituted on for Tom Soares . In the Premier League Moult made his debut six months later in the away game against Burnley FC when Tony Pulis came on for Tuncay Şanlı . Nine days after his league debut, he signed a professional contract with the Potters . In July 2010 Moult was awarded to the English fourth division club Bradford City for half a year . Following his debut against Shrewsbury Town in August, the striker scored the first professional goal of his career against Oxford United in October . In January 2011, Moult returned to Stoke after 11 games and one goal for Bradford . In the same month it was awarded again; this time to Mansfield Town in the National League . Between January and May 2011 he only played three games for the club due to injury but scored two goals. In August and November 2011, two monthly loans followed to Accrington Stanley and a second time to Mansfield Town . After a loan to the amateur club Alfreton Town in the National League North , where he was used only once, the contract in Stoke, which expired in the summer of 2012, was not extended. He then joined the English fourth division club Northampton Town . This loaned him from February to April 2013 to Nuneaton Town , who later hired him. After a successful season at Nuneaton Town, Moult moved to Wrexham FC in the summer of 2014 . In this, the attacker was able to build on his previously shown performance and scored 16 goals in 39 games. In June 2015 he moved to Motherwell FC in Scotland . In January 2018, he moved to Preston North End .
