Career
From the age of nine, Sinclair played for the Bristol Rovers , where he made his debut in the English 4th division at the age of 15. In November 2005, Chelsea was sentenced to pay Bristol a further £ 750,000 in addition to the original severance payment of £ 160,000; in addition, the Bristol Rovers were awarded 15% of the proceeds from a possible resale of Sinclair. In the 2005/06 season Sinclair played 21 times for the youth team of Chelsea and scored 15 goals, so that he was called to the England U17 national team. He also played seven games for Chelsea's reserve team and scored three times.
On January 6, 2007 he was appointed to the professional team for the FA Cup game against Macclesfield Town for the first time, but initially not used. Five days later he made his English League Cup debut against the Wycombe Wanderers .
In January 2007 he was awarded a five-month loan to Plymouth Argyle , whose manager had been watching him since his time with the Bristol Rovers . On May 6, 2007, he rejoined the Chelsea team and made his league debut against Arsenal , where he came in for Shaun Wright-Phillips in the last ten minutes . The next game against Manchester United he played from the start, but was injured after a tackle by Wes Brown on the metatarsal and fell the rest of the games from.
In November it was awarded again, first to Queens Park Rangers , later to Charlton Athletic , Crystal Palace , Birmingham City and most recently Wigan Athletic .
On August 9, 2010 Scott Sinclair moved to the Welsh club Swansea City , which was playing in the English second division at the time. In the play-off final at London's Wembley Stadium against Reading FC on May 30, 2011, Sinclair secured the first promotion of a Welsh club to the Premier League with a hat trick at 4-2 after a 3-0 lead at halftime.
On August 31, 2012, Sinclair moved within the league to Manchester City . On August 21, 2013 Sinclair moved to the end of the season on loan to West Bromwich Albion . In the summer of 2015, Aston Villa signed him for £ 2.5m from Manchester City.
In August 2016, Sinclair moved to Scotland for Celtic Glasgow , and signed a four-year deal. He made his debut the day after signing , on Matchday 1 of the Scottish Premiership 2016/17 against Heart of Midlothian when he came on for Stuart Armstrong . For Celtic he also scored the first goal in the first game to win the 2-1 away win.
