Jayden Connor Stockley (born September 15, 1993 in Poole ) is an English football player who is under contract with Preston North End .

Career

Jayden Stockley was born in Poole, Dorset . He started his career at AFC Bournemouth in the largest city in the region. By 2009 Stockley played in the club's youth. In September 2009 he was under Eddie Howe at the age of 16 for the first time in the professional squad. He made his debut a month later in the Football League Trophy against Northampton Town . In the following seven years, the striker was awarded a total of eight times. These included clubs from the third and fourth leagues in England. In May 2016 he was signed by Scotland's Aberdeen FC after scoring ten goals in 22 games on his last loan spell at Exeter City . After just one season in Aberdeen, Stockley moved to Exeter City for a transfer fee of £ 100,000. In early January 2019, he joined second division Preston North End for a £ 750,000 transfer .
