Lublino (German Nöblin ) is a village in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship and belongs to the urban and rural community Chociwel ( Freienwalde in Pomerania ) in the powiat Stargardzki ( Stargard district in Pomerania ).

Geographical location and transport links

Lublino is located on the north bank of the Jezioro Kamienny Most ( Steinhöfeler Lake ) in the southwestern area of the Iński Park Krajobrazowy ( Nörenberg Landscape Park ) within the Pojezierze Iński ( Nörenberg Lake District).

A spur road leads from the Polish state road 20 (here part of the former German Reichsstraße 158 ) three kilometers northeast of the town of Chociwel ( Freienwalde ) to Lublino. The train station is Chociwel on the state railway line from Stargard in Pomerania to Gdansk .

history

The village formerly called Nöblin was a rural community and manor district until the 1920s. In 1910 there were 222 inhabitants registered here. The village was then merged with the neighboring village of Steinhöfel (now in Polish: Kamienny Most) to form the municipality of Steinhöfel-Nöblin. The community belonged to the district of Steinhöfel until 1945 and was in the district of Saatzig in the administrative district of Stettin in the Prussian province of Pomerania .

Since 1945, the place now called Lublino has been part of the Polish Gmina Chociwel in the powiat Stargardzki in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship . About 100 people live here.

church

Nöblin had its own church. Until 1945 it was a branch church in the Protestant parish Steinhöfel (Kamienny Most) in the parish of Freienwalde (Chociwel) in the church province of Pomerania of the Church of the Old Prussian Union . The Woltersdorf landowner represented the church patronage of the Nöblin church. The parish of Nöblin had 278 parishioners in 1940 (out of 1020 in the entire parish). In the last years before 1945 the parish was looked after by the pastor in Zeinicke (Ścienne).

The majority of the population of Lublino has been Catholic since 1945 . The parish seat is now Chociwel , which belongs to the Deanery Ińsko ( Nörenberg ) in the Archdiocese of Stettin-Cammin of the Catholic Church in Poland . Evangelical church members are now parish in the Trinity parish in Stettin in the diocese of Wroclaw of the Evangelical-Augsburg Church in Poland .

school

Before 1945, the school of the unified Steinhöfel-Nöblin community stood exactly between the two districts.
