Ludwig Gebhard (District President)

Ludwig Gebhard (* 1891 ; † July 11, 1956 in Ansbach ) was a German administrative lawyer .

Life

In 1919, after completing his doctorate, Ludwig Gebhard passed the major state examination in law. From 1919 to 1921 he was an assessor in the Bavarian State Ministry for Agriculture. In 1921/1922 he was a district administrator in Donauwörth . From 1922 to 1933 he worked in the Bavarian State Ministry for Agriculture (since 1928 for Agriculture and Labor). From 1933 to 1939 he was in the Reich Ministry of Food and Agriculture , in 1933 as a senior government councilor, 1936 as a ministerial councilor, and from 1939 to 1942 as head of the main food office in Berlin. He was deposed as a result of a dispute with Joseph Goebbels . From 1942 to 1944 he was a consultant in the Reich Ministry of Food . In 1944/1945 he served in the Wehrmacht . In 1945/1946 he was head of department at the German administration for trade and supply in the Soviet occupation zone . From January 1, 1947 to October 9, 1948 he was President of the Ansbach Administrative Court . On May 15, 1947, he was classified in the Spruchkammer proceedings by the Spruchkammer Ansbach-Stadt as not affected by the law. On August 13, 1948 he was entrusted with the management of the business of the District President of the Government of Upper Franconia . From April 30, 1949 he was the district president of Upper Franconia . He died in office on July 11, 1956.
