Luxoft (NYSE: LXFT) is an international software development and IT outsourcing company with 12,738 employees (2018). The company was founded in April 2000 as part of the IBS Group. Luxoft develops and sells custom software for IT organizations and software providers.

The company offers its services in such industries as financial and banking services, travel and aviation, telecommunications, energy, automotive and technology industries. Luxoft has 17 locations and delivery centers worldwide in Central and Eastern Europe , North America and Asia .

history

Luxoft was originally founded in Moscow in 1995 as a development center for IBS, a Russian IT holding company. In April 2000 the development center was transformed into an independent company under the management of Dmitri Loschinin.

In 2000, Luxoft opened its first office in Montvale , USA . A year later they opened another in Seattle and a first regional office in Omsk , Russia . In 2004 offices were added in London , England and Saint Petersburg , Russia. The following year the company opened additional offices in Kiev and Odessa , Ukraine . At that time, Luxoft got the status of Microsoft Gold Certified Partner . In the same year the company acquired IT Consulting International in New York . In 2007 the newest location was opened in Dnipro in Ukraine. In 2008 an office was opened in Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam and the Romanian company ITC Networks was acquired . In 2010 Luxoft established a development center in Krakow , Poland .

Luxoft has development centers in Russia ( Moscow , Saint Petersburg , Omsk , Dubna , Nizhny Novgorod ), Ukraine ( Kiev , Odessa , Dnipro ), Romania ( Bucharest ), Vietnam ( Ho Chi Minh City ) and Poland ( Krakow ).
