The Médina Yoro Foulah department, with the capital Médina Yoro Foulah, is one of 45 departments that make up Senegal and one of three departments that make up the Kolda region . It is located in southern Senegal and is found in the east of the Casamance, north of the upper Casamance River and on the border with Gambia .
