Mücahit Can Akçay (born April 13, 1998 in Ankara ) is a Turkish football player .

Career

society

Akçay started club football in 2010 in the youth of Gençlerbirliği Ankara . For the 2016/17 season he switched to the first division club Konyaspor as a professional player . Here he played half a season for the reserve team and belonged to the professional squad in the second half of the season. By the end of the season, he played a cup game. For the 2017/18 season Akçay was loaned to third division club Anadolu Selçukspor , the second club of Konyaspors. For this he scored 17 goals in 33 league games and was one of the most successful goal scorers in the league.

National team

Akçay started his international career in September 2012 with an assignment for the Turkish U-15 national team .

With the Turkish U-16 national team he took part in the Aegean Cup and was second in the tournament. In 2018 he was nominated for the tournament in Toulon in the squad of the Turkish U-20 national team and played four games during the tournament. With his team he was third in the tournament.
