Ali Turan (born September 6, 1983 in Kayseri ) is a Turkish football player .

Career

Ali Turan began his career in the 2002/03 season with Kayserispor in the Turkish Süper Lig . There he played continuously until 2007. He moved in the second half of the 2006/07 season on loan to local rivals Kayseri Erciyesspor . In the 2009/10 season Turan was named captain of Kayserispor.

During the winter break of the 2009/10 season, Galatasaray Istanbul wanted to sign the defender before his contract ended in the summer. However, you could not agree with the club, which is why the change failed. Turan wanted to move to Galatasaray on a free transfer in the summer despite the cancellation and refused to negotiate with other clubs. Kayserispor suspended him from the squad for an indefinite period.

His contract with Kayserispor was terminated after the winter transfer period. He then signed a contract with Galatasaray, which is valid from June 1, 2010. Since April 21, 2010 Ali Turan has participated in the Gala training. During the winter break of the 2010/11 season, his contract with Galatasaray was dissolved.

After saying goodbye to Galatasaray, he moved to the southern Turkish first division club Antalyaspor . Here he played for a season and a half. After Antalyaspor had just barely escaped relegation in the 2011/12 season, a rrvision was decided in the squad. Man parted with many seasoned players, u. a. from Turan.

In the early summer of 2012, Turan's move to league rivals Gaziantepspor was announced. He took part in the pre-season camp with this club and then dissolved his contract due to differences with the coaching staff. Shortly before the end of the summer transfer period, he moved to the second division Torku Konyaspor .
