Serigne Fallou Diagne (born August 14, 1989 in Dakar ) is a Senegalese football player who is under contract with Konyaspor .

Career

The central defender started his career at AS Génération Foot and moved to the French club FC Metz in the summer of 2006 . For the 2008/09 season he was promoted to the Ligue 2 squad by Yvon Pouliquen and made his professional debut in the away game against Tours FC on January 16, 2009 , which was followed by 55 more games in which Diagne scored three goals. On January 6, 2012, he moved to the German Bundesliga club SC Freiburg and signed a contract until the summer of 2016. There he was a regular player from the start and contributed to SC Freiburg's fifth place in the 2012/13 season . In the 2013/14 season he caused a stir when he saw the red card in two consecutive games in the Bundesliga and the Europa League due to emergency braking .

On August 26, 2014, Diagne signed a three-year contract with Stade Rennes .

For the 2016/17 season , Diagne returned to the German Bundesliga with the move to Werder Bremen . For Bremen, however, he only completed two Bundesliga games under Viktor Skripnik as a coach. After Skripnik's dismissal, Diagne no longer played a role under his successor Alexander Nouri . In October he was transferred to the second team, for which he played three times in the third division .

On January 10, 2017, Diagne returned to Metz on loan for a year and a half. He was used in 41 league games and scored a hit. At the end of the 2017/18 season he was relegated to Ligue 2 with FC Metz .

In July 2018 Diagne did not return to Werder Bremen, but was given leave to look for a new club. At the beginning of August 2018 he moved to the Turkish first division club Konyaspor .
