Ömer Ali Şahiner (born January 2, 1992 in Ereğli ) is a Turkish football player in the service of Konyaspor .

Career

society

Şahiner started club football in the youth of Karabağ Gençlerbirliği and moved to the youth of Konya Şekerspor in 2005 . In summer 2008 he received a professional contract here, but continued to play mainly for the youth and reserve team. From November 2008 he was carefully introduced to the professional team by the then head coach İsmail Kartal in addition to his work for the reserve team and played his first games. In the summer of 2009 he quickly won a regular place and played for the club until the summer of 2012.

Since Konya Şekerspor and Konyaspor merged to Torku Konyaspor in the summer of 2012 , Şahiner was one of the players who switched to the newly created club.

National team

Şahiner went through almost all Turkish youth national teams from the U-16. In 2009 he took the Turkish U-17 team at the 2009 FIFA U-17 World Cup in part, reaching with his team the quarterfinals.

With the U-19, he took part in the U-19 European Football Championship 2011 , and his team was eliminated from the tournament in the group stage.
