Mahmut Ertuğrul Taşkıran (born November 5, 1989 in Istanbul ) is a Turkish football goalkeeper .

Origin and family

His parents come from Amasya in the Black Sea region of Turkey and moved to Istanbul in the late 1970s . Ertuğrul Taşkıran was born in the Kadıköy district of Istanbul , the home of the traditional Turkish club Fenerbahçe Istanbul . He has four siblings, two of whom are older sisters and two brothers, one younger and older.

The goalkeeper has been married to Gözde Sansür since June 7, 2014.

The beginnings

Taşkıran began playing football in the streets of his neighborhood and then also in the school team as a substitute goalkeeper , where he was later used in a game, discovered him by youth coach from Kartalspor . In March 2002 his club career began in the Kartalspor B youth team in the Istanbul district of Kartal . Where initially his family and especially an older sister who was studying in Ankara specially traveled to prevent him from starting this career, were against it. There Ertuğrul Taşkıran successfully guarded his goal and rose to the professional team in August 2005.

Fenerbahçe Istanbul

In August 2006, the 16-year-old moved to the youth team of Fenerbahçe Istanbul for a season on loan . After this season Fenerbahçe signed him in July 2007 and he signed a three-year contract. He guarded the goal of the Fenerbahçe youth for two or three years and was allowed to train in the professional team in between when the national goalkeepers Rüştü Reçber , Volkan Demirel and Serdar Kulbilge were on the road with the senior national team of Turkey .

In the 2010/11 season, the 20-year-old goalkeeper was twice in the team of the professional Fenerbahçe team, but without being used. In order to maintain his match practice he played especially in the A2 Ligi, Turkish Reserve League, for the A2 team Fenerbahçes.

Without having played a competitive game for Fenerbahçes 1st team, he was loaned to the promoted team in September 2011 for the rest of the season within the 1st division. The 21-year-old goalkeeper made his professional debut on September 18, 2011, the second matchday, in Istanbul against Galatasaray Istanbul . Where he came on in the 73rd minute of the game because Ahmet Şahin, who was originally in the Samsunspor goal, received the red card . Three days later he made his professional starting eleven debut against Trabzonspor , where the goalkeeper completed his first 90 minutes of professional play. This was followed by another 26 competitive appearances, including one in the Turkish Cup competition and among other things in October 2011 in the league game against his home club Fenerbahçe Istanbul, where Ertuğrul Taşkıran did not concede a goal and thus secured his team a point in a goalless draw.

Kayserispor loan station

In June 2012, the then 22-year-old goalkeeper moved to the 2012/13 season on loan for two years to league rivals Kayserispor . He was part of the transfer of Hasan Ali Kaldırım who was already transferred to Fenerbahçe Istanbul in return. In the first season Ertuğrul Taşkıran completed 30 league games out of a possible 34 games, where he was in the starting line-up in all of his missions and became a regular goalkeeper. Among other things, Ertuğrul Taşkıran reached fifth place in the table with Kayserispor and missed qualifying for the international UEFA club competitions for a better place in the table .

His second and final season at Kayseri was less successful and lost his regular place, including 13 league games out of a possible 34 games and rose with the team from bottom of the table. The 24-year-old goalkeeper played 46 competitive games for Kayserispor in two seasons.

Sivasspor loan station

For the 2014/15 season, his club loaned him to league rivals Sivasspor .

Boluspor

In the summer of 2017 Taşkıran left Fenerbahçe for good and moved to the second division side Boluspor .

Konyaspor

Taşkıran left Boluspor after a season and moved to Konyaspor .

National team

Between 2005 and 2006 Taşkıran played six games for the Turkish U17 national team and stayed in another five games without use. In 2006 he played three games for the U18 national team.

Since 2012 he has also played for the reserve of the A-team , Turkey A2.
