Ferhat Öztorun (born May 8, 1987 in Şişli , Istanbul ) is a Turkish football player who is mostly used in the position of the left defender.
Career
society
Öztorun comes from the youth of Galatasaray Istanbul . He became Turkish champions in his first season as a professional with Galatasaray.
In August 2007, Öztorun moved to Manisaspor by swapping players with Hakan Balta . At the end of the 2007/08 season he rose with Manisaspor in the TFF 1st Lig . On June 10, 2009 he signed a three-year contract with Trabzonspor, which was extended by three years in June 2012.
For the second half of the 2012/13 season, Öztorun moved to league rivals Orduspor . For this club he played the next one and a half seasons and left the club, relegated to the TFF 1st Lig and in financial problems, in the summer of 2014 in the direction of Istanbul Başakşehir . At this club he immediately established himself as a regular player and top performer and in these functions contributed to the fact that the club experienced its most successful time in the club's history with two fourth placements, a runner-up in the Süper Lig and a cup final . After three seasons he left Başakşehir and moved to league rivals Atiker Konyaspor together with his teammate Eren Albayrak .
National team
Between 2002 and 2008, Öztorun played a total of 60 international matches for Turkish junior national teams. With the U-17 he took part in the U-17 European Championship in 2004 , with the U-18 he played in the UEFA-CAF Meridian Cup in 2005 . He was also part of the Turkish U-19 team at the 2006 U-19 European Championship .
