The Mühlbach is a 5.6 km long right tributary of the Gleiritsch in the Upper Palatinate in Bavaria . The Mühlbach rises in several sources east of Tännesberg near the Sankt Jodokkirche in the Tännesberger Wald in the Vogelherd forest and flows into the Gleiritsch between Lampenricht and Sägmühle .

Surname

In the past, water power was used to operate several mills (Neumühle, Schneglmühle, Boxmühle) along the stream. Two cutting saws were also operated. Hence the name came about. A terrain formation on the stream between the Neumühle and Pilchau is called Mühlbühl, based on the stream.

The Mühlbach rises in several sources in the Vogelherd forest in the Tännesberg Forest. East of the St. Jodok Church, the water flows north of the village of Pilchau between the Zislesberg and the Mühlbühl in the direction of Neumühle and on to the Schneglmühle.
