Mühlberg is a district of Bad Lobenstein in the Saale-Orla district in Thuringia .

Geography and geology

Like Saaldorf, Mühlberg is located to the right of the Saale Bleiloch reservoir in a small bay. Coming on the federal road 90 and a connecting path after the bridge from Bad Lobenstein, turn right to reach the hamlet . Since the water was dammed up in the reservoir, Mühlberg has been on a floor a few meters above the normal water level of the lake on a typical plateau of the south-east Thuringian slate mountains .
