The MZKT-8022 ( Russian МЗКТ-8022 ) is a vehicle model from the Belarusian manufacturer Minski Zavod Kolyosnych Tjagachei . It was developed in the 2000s primarily for the Pechora 2M air defense system. In addition, a three-axle vehicle is being built as MZKT-8021 .

Development history

The MZKT-8022, like the MZKT-8021, was developed in the 2000s as the base vehicle for the Pechora 2M anti-aircraft missile complex. The MZKT-8022 acts as an escort vehicle that can be equipped with different bodies. The two-axle vehicle, which is almost ten meters long, has all-wheel drive (4 × 4). One serves as a drive six-cylinder engine - diesel engine type Jamz-236 of the Russian BE2T6, Yaroslavsky Zavod Motorny is manufactured. With a displacement of 11.15 liters, it has an output of 250 hp (184 kW) and a maximum torque of 1078 Nm. The model has a mechanical manual transmission from JaMZ with eight forward gears and two reverse gears. If the vehicles are fully utilized, the axle loads are 8175 kg. The three-seater cab is made from fiberglass , which is designed for use in hot and cold climates. The material is not susceptible to corrosion and it is characterized by a high level of heat and sound insulation. The cab can be tilted to simplify engine maintenance. Due to its dimensions and total weight, the MZKT-8022 can be air-loaded with the aircraft types An-124 and An-22 without any problems and can therefore be used worldwide promptly.
