The MZKT-750440 ( Russian МЗКТ-750440 , marketed under the brand name VOLAT ) is a heavy tractor unit with all-wheel drive from the Belarusian manufacturer Minsky Sawod Koljosnych Tjagachei (Russian Минский завод колёсных тperМwerk Minsk . The four-axle truck has been built since 2016 and is designed to pull semi-trailers with a total weight of up to 73 tons. Unlike many of the manufacturer's models, the vehicle is only offered for civilian use.

The Minski Sawod Koljosnych Tjagachei started testing and manufacturing the MZKT-750440 in 2016. It is designed for a gross vehicle weight of almost 44 tons and can pull trailers with a total weight of 73 tons. Like many of the manufacturer's other vehicles, this truck also has all-wheel drive, and all four axles have individual tires. Two powerful winches with a maximum pulling force of 250 kN each are installed behind the cab.

An R6 four-stroke diesel engine supplied by Paccar serves as the drive . It is assembled in Eindhoven , the Netherlands , and is also used in current DAF trucks . With a displacement of 12.9 liters, it develops 462 hp (340 kW) and has a maximum torque of 2300 Nm. It has an exhaust gas turbocharger , charge air cooler and exhaust gas aftertreatment. The engine thus meets the Euro V emissions standard. The truck has a mechanical gearbox with 16 forward gears and two reverse gears, which is supplied by the Chinese company Shaanxi . The brake system works with compressed air, and an engine dust brake is also installed. ABS is standard. The cabins correspond to those of the MAZ-5440 and are taken from the Minski Avtomobilny Zavod . Only the front fairing was optically changed. Inside there are two seats and a bed.

The truck is technically designed for a payload (fifth wheel load) of up to 27 tons with a dead weight of around 17 tons. If the vehicle is fully loaded, the rear axle load is 13 tonnes, which is more than what is permitted on public roads in Germany, for example. Unlike many of the manufacturer's military tractor units, the truck is only 2.55 m wide and does not exceed the dimensions permitted for commercial vehicles in the European Union .
