Made in Germany - Live is the fourth live album by German singer Nena . The double album for the tour for the studio album of the same name from 2009 was recorded at the concert in Berlin's O 2 arena on April 24, 2010. It was released by Laugh & Peas on September 17, 2010 and was also released as a video recording on DVD .
Publication and chart success
In contrast to the studio recording, the live album was only able to place itself in the German-language charts in Austria. It reached number 64 there and lasted a week.
reception
Anne Nussbaum reviewed the album for laut.de and found a lot of familiar things: “Nothing new, nothing exciting, the songs and announcements as unimaginative as they are interchangeable.” However, Nussbaum praised the production (“sounds correspondingly less polished, gets scruffier and more hearty”) and the "proper live band".

bonus
The bonus tracks were not recorded at the concert on April 24th in Berlin. The titles Strangers and Ecstasy come from a recording of a concert in Huxley's Neue Welt in Berlin on November 23, 2009. Liebe isch ... comes from a recording of the concert in the Schleyerhalle in Stuttgart on April 9, 2010. You have made your decision and have today I confused the sun with the moon were recorded in the Hamburg Color Line Arena on April 22, 2010.
With Engel der Nacht there is also a track that was not recorded at a concert, but before the tour on November 22, 2009 in the Berlin rehearsal room.
