Reviews

The reviews of the album were mixed. The Webzine Terrorverlag is surprised by the guitar-heaviness of the pieces and says that the album offers some “really great highlights” and “is a lot of fun at times”, even if not for the entire season. Tanja Kraus from CDSTARTS.de sees it similarly and writes that some songs are “a bit flat and naive” and mentions “Made in Germany” or “A lot of time” as examples. Their conclusion is that it is a "typical and solid Nena album [is] that still has its right to exist today". Deborah Katona from laut.de was not very enthusiastic and complained that the album sounds like "copied in bad" by other artists such as 2raumwohnung , Christina Stürmer or Rosenstolz . Werner Laibusch from the radio station hr1 called the album “unmistakable and so with itself”, sees borrowings from David Bowie , Depeche Mode or Kim Wilde and sums up that it is “13 songs in German with an international retro sound”.
