The sculpture Madonna and Child in the Church of St-Martin in Génissac , a French commune in the Gironde department of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region , was created in the 17th century. In 1981 the baroque sculpture was added to the list of listed objects ( Base Palissy ) in France as Monument historique .

The wooden sculpture is 1.20 meters high and painted. The baby Jesus sits on Mary's right arm and holds a globe with a cross in her left hand. Like the child, Mary wears a crown on her head.
