The sculpture Madonna and Child in the Church of St-Pierre in Lagorce , a French commune in the Gironde department of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region , was created in the 14th century. In 1979 the Gothic sculpture was added to the list of listed objects ( Base Palissy ) in France as Monument historique .

The colored stone sculpture is 1.20 meters high. The baby Jesus is sitting on the left arm of Mary , who has a crown on her head. Mother and child have raised their right hand.
