The sculpture Madonna and Child in the Notre-Dame chapel in the Condat district of Libourne , a French commune in the Gironde department of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region , was created in the 16th century. In 1908 the sculpture was added to the list of listed objects ( Base Palissy ) in France as Monument historique .

The stone sculpture is colored in focus . The baby Jesus sits on Mary's lap and holds the globe in her hands.
