The sculpture Madonna and Child in the church of St-Blaise-St-Martin in Cadillac , a French commune in the Gironde department of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region , was created around 1800. In 1980 the baroque sculpture was added to the list of listed objects ( Base Palissy ) in France as Monument historique .

The wooden sculpture is 64 cm high and painted. The baby Jesus sits on Mary's right arm and turns his face towards the viewer. The many folds of Maria's dress, who holds a scepter in her left hand and a crown on her head, give her appearance a fullness.
