Magnolia is a town in Columbia County in the US -amerikanischen State Arkansas with 11,577 inhabitants (2010) and is the seat of the County administration ( County Seat ). The urban area has a size of 24.1 km².

Magnolia is part of the Ark-La-Tex socio-economic region that includes parts of the states of Arkansas, Louisiana , Oklahoma, and Texas .

In Magnolia, there is Southern Arkansas University as a public university with an average of 3,000 students. There is also a wide range of cultural institutions for a city of this size.
