Mail-Süd is a village in the municipality of St. Georgen am Längsee in the district of Sankt Veit an der Glan in Carinthia . The village has 19 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2020). It is located in the area of ​​the cadastral municipality of St. Georgen am Längsee .

history

Mail-Süd is a young place. It was not until 1890 that the place name Mail appeared in the special place repertory of Carinthia . Since a few houses were built on the other side of Friesacher Strasse, in the municipality of Mölbling, a distinction has been made between Mail (Mölbling municipality) north of Friesacher Strasse and Mail-Süd (Sankt Georgen am Längsee) south of Friesacher Strasse.
