Maksim Jelissejeu ( Belarusian Максім Елісееў , English transcription Maksim Yeliseyeu ; born May 28, 1988 ) is a Belarusian biathlete .

Maksim Jelissejeu took part internationally as part of the Junior World Championships 2007 in Martell in his first international competitions and was 25th in the individual, 26th in the sprint, 34th in the pursuit and just missed a medal in fourth place with the relay. In 2008 he started several times in junior races of the IBU Cup , in which he always achieved single-digit results. The next participation in a Junior World Championship followed in 2008 in Ruhpolding . Jelissejeu ran to 44th place in the individual, 50th in the sprint, 45th in the pursuit, eleventh in the relay race. In Nové Město na Moravě he started shortly afterwards in the junior competitions of the Biathlon European Championships in 2008 and just missed a medal in fourth place as at the World Cup last year. In addition, the Belarusian was 54 in singles. The last time he took part in 2009 in Canmore at the Junior World Championships, where he was 13th in the individual, 46th in the sprint and 38th in the pursuit. At the 2009 European Championships in Ufa , Jelissejeu came in 39th in the junior singles. The last major event among the juniors was the 2009 Summer Biathlon World Championships in Oberhof . In the competitions on roller skis, he reached 24th place in the sprint and 13th in the pursuit.

At the start of the 2009/10 season , Jelissejeu took part in his first race in the men's IBU Cup in Idre and finished 78th and 76th in the sprint races. A little later he won first points as the 29th of a sprint in Ridnaun . The first major event for men was the 2010 European Biathlon Championships in Otepää . The Belarusian finished 33rd in the individual, 29th in the sprint and 25th in the pursuit.
