The village is two kilometers southeast of the center of Gangkofen.

history

With the regional reform in Bavaria , the former municipality of Malling lost its independence on January 1, 1972. The places Brumm , Gottholbing , Gunzen , Hintergausberg , Hinterwimm , Holzlehen , Holzlucken , Kieswimm , Kreuzöd , Liegöd , Linn , Moosvogl , Schusteröd , Siedöd , Steinbüchl , Unterried , Viehholzen and Vordergausberg were incorporated into the Massing market . The places Abessen , Ecken , Edgarten , Fußöd , Gruber , Holzreit , Malling, Matzing , Oberried , Ofen , Rußbrenner , Schnatzling , Schroll , Seereit , Vohberg , Wickering and Wüst came to the Gangkofen market.
