Mallon is a former municipality and now a cadastral municipality of the market town of Kirchberg am Wagram in the Tulln district in Lower Austria .

geography

The village lies in the fertile plain of the Tullnerfeld . The Kaiser Franz Joseph Bahn runs north between Vienna and Krems an der Donau.

history

The village, which originally belonged to the Oberstockstall rulership , became independent as a separate municipality in 1848 and merged with other municipalities to form the larger municipality of Kirchberg am Wagram in 1968 .
