Marc Neumeister (born June 22, 1984 in Lünen ) is a German actor, director and artistic director of the Leo Theater in the Ibach House in Schwelm .

Life

Neumeister gained his first theater experience while at school at the Free Waldorf School in Hamm. There, he joined Momo by Michael Ende as Beppo and witch hunt by Arthur Miller as Giles Corey on. From 2007 to 2010 he switched to working behind the camera and finished his studies as a qualified film and television businessperson at the WAM in Dortmund .

Neumeister began his professional career as a theater actor in early 2013 as a permanent member of the ensemble at the Leo Theater in Wuppertal . There he played in his first role the porter Louis in the Heinz-Erhardt comedy Ach Egon.

After the Leo Theater moved to Ennepetal , he got a permanent job there in November 2013.

In 2013 he played a. a. the lead role of Inspector Larry Holt in The Dead Eyes of London based on Edgar Wallace , in 2014 he played a. a. the son of Martha in Altweiberfrühling by Stefan Vögel , the leading role of Bernhard in Marc Camoletti's tabloid comedy Boeing Boeing, the Hotzenplotz in Neues vom Räuber Hotzenplotz by Otfried Preußler . To this day Neumeister plays all of Vicco von Bülow's skits in a Loriot program, which he also directed.

In June 2015 Neumeister took over the post of Deputy Artistic Director.

In 2015 he took over a. assistant director for Der Gott des Gemetzels by Yasmina Reza , director for Alles hat seine Zeit by Frank Pinkus, played Rocco at the German-language premiere of Familie Durchgeknallt (Barking in Essex) by Clive Exton , took on the role of Major von Mühlen in Pension Schöller by Wilhelm Jacoby and Carl Laufs , played the main role of Tom and co-directed the world premiere of Hauptsache Gesund and played Al Lewis in Neil Simon's Sonny Boys . This was followed by appearances and guest appearances in the comedy Düsseldorf or in the Velvets Theater Wiesbaden.

In 2016 he directed Frank Pinkus's Männerparadies and played his first musical Zum Sterben schön by Marc Schubring and Wolfgang Adenberg as Mayor Hugh Rhys-Jones. He directed and played Sherlock Holmes in Sherlock Holmes and the Hound of the Baskervilles. With hi dad! Help. Finally dad. by Bjarni Thorsson, Neumeister premiered on August 26, 2016 with his first solo piece . In October 2016 he took on the role of Dr. in the comedy Aufguss by René Heinersdorff. In January 2017 he took over the direction of the crime comedy classic Arsen und Spitzenhäubchen from Joseph Kesselring , together with Robin Schmale, and played the leading role of Abby Brewster.

He directed Michael Frayn's Der Nackte Wahnsinn (Noises off) and also played the director there. In March 2017 he directed the world premiere of Separation pa (a) r Excellence by Claudia van Veen and Jens Hajek and in April he made a personal dream come true: he played Alfred Tetzlaff in his own production of Ein Herz und eine Seele von Wolfgang Quantity , whose premiere brought a record of viewers.

From 2013 to 2019 he played in over 40 pieces. He played leading and supporting roles and at the same time often worked as a self-acting director.

During this time he completed private acting training.

Since January 1, 2016 Neumeister has been the artistic director of the Leo Theater in the Ibach House in Schwelm.

Neumeister is married and lives in Olfen .
