Marc Torrejón Moya (born February 18, 1986 in Barcelona ) is a Spanish football player .

Career

In the club

Torrejón came the age of 17 in late 2003 to his first race for the second team of Espanyol in the Segunda División B . After he came to only one use in the 2004/05 season, he moved in the summer of 2005 to the second team of FC Málaga in the Segunda División . After he had developed into a regular player there, he was committed again a year later in the summer of 2006 by Espanyol, this time for the first team in the Primera División . As a regular player, he reached the final of the 2007 UEFA Cup with Espanyol , which was lost on penalties against league rivals and defending champions Sevilla FC . In the 2008/09 season he lost his place because of a knee injury.

Therefore, he moved in the summer of 2009 to league rivals Racing Santander , where he was again a regular. In the summer of 2012 he was relegated with the team.

At the end of August 2012, Torrejón moved to the German second division club 1. FC Kaiserslautern . He signed a three-year contract with FCK until June 30, 2015. On September 16, 2012, he made his debut for FCK in the home game against Duisburg (2: 1). Torrejón played the full 90 minutes of the game.

On August 27, 2014, Torrejón moved to the Bundesliga for SC Freiburg .

For the 2017/18 season , Torrejón moved to the second division club 1. FC Union Berlin . In his first season he was used in 24 second division games. After promotion to the Bundesliga in the 2018/19 season , Torrejón left the club when his contract ended. In the year of promotion he was not used in the league under coach Urs Fischer .

National team

Torrejón was used for both the U-19s and the U-21s of the Spanish Football Association .
