Marek Kondrat (born October 18, 1950 in Krakow ) is a Polish actor .

Life

Marek Kondrat received his training as an actor at the State Drama School PWST in Warsaw . His first engagement after graduating took him to the Silesian Theater in Katowice in 1972/1973 , but just one season later he made the jump to one of the major stages in the Polish capital. Until 1983 he was a member of the ensemble at the Warsaw Dramatic Theater in the Palace of Culture in Warsaw. However, he celebrated his great acting successes in film. He has appeared in numerous productions since the mid-1970s and has become one of the busiest actors in Poland. For his performance as the self-hating Adam in Marek Koterski's tragic comedy Dzień świra (2002), he received the Polish Film Prize for Best Actor in 2003 .

Kondrat lives as a freelance actor in Sopot .
