Margarethe von Hanau (1411–1441)

Margarethe von Hanau (* 1411 ; † April 29, 1441 ) was a daughter of Reinhard II of Hanau , who became the first Count of Hanau in 1429, and of Katharina von Nassau-Beilstein († September 6, 1459 ).

Margarethe married Gottfried VIII von Eppstein -Diez († 1466) in 1439 . The Wittums contract dates from November 13, 1439. The Wittum was expelled on January 17, 1440 on Camberg and Massenheim as well as Würges , Erbach , Alsdorf ( desert ), Haintchen , Hasselbach , Eisenbach , Dauborn , Eufingen , Gnadenthal , Hahnstätten and Neisen . The contract for the morning gift , on the other hand, does not date until July 3, 1440.

From the marriage emerged:
