Marianówka (German: Mariendorf ) is a village in the powiat Kłodzki in Poland. It belongs to the urban and rural municipality Bystrzyca Kłodzka ( Habelschwerdt ), from which it is located seven kilometers southeast. The village was created in 1900 by merging the colonies Marienau and Neudorf .

geography

Marianówka is located in the south of the Kłodzko Basin in the northern foothills of the Kłodzko Snow Mountains . Neighboring towns are Idzików in the north, Kamienna and Marcinków in the northeast, Międzygórze in the southeast, Jaworek in the south, Wilkanów in the southwest and Pławnica in the northwest. The pilgrimage church of Maria Schnee is located to the south-east on the Góra Igliczna mountain .

history

The colonies Marienau and Neudorf belonged to the Dominium Kieslingswalde since their foundation. After the reorganization of Prussia, they belonged to the province of Silesia from 1815 and were initially incorporated into the district of Glatz. In 1818 it was reorganized into the newly formed district of Habelschwerdt . In 1874 they were assigned to the newly formed district of Kieslingswalde, which also included Glasegrund, Plomnitz and Weißwasser.

In 1900 the colonies Marienau and Neudorf were merged and given the common place name Mariendorf . Subsequently it developed into a holiday and winter sports resort. In 1939 there were 135 inhabitants. As a result of the Second World War , Mariendorf fell to Poland in 1945, like almost all of Silesia, and was renamed Marianówka . The German population was expelled. Since numerous houses were left to decay, the number of residents fell significantly. 1975–1998 Marianówka belonged to the Wałbrzych Voivodeship (German Waldenburg ).

Marienau Colony

The Marienau colony was built at the end of the 19th century by the royal sergeant-major Gisbert von der Hemm, heir to Kieslingswalde, on the grounds of the Mittelhof there. He was married to Marianna Spielvogel from Grottkau , after whom he named the colony "Marienau". The colony belonged to the Dominium and the Kieslingswalde community and was dedicated to the local parish church. For 1802 there are fourteen colonists with 57 inhabitants.

Neudorf colony

Also at the end of the 18th century, Gisbert von der Hemm built the Neudorf colony on the stately grounds of the Kieslingswalder Niederhof. It also belonged to the Kieslingswalde community and was dedicated to the local parish church. In 1802 it consisted of twelve colonist posts on which 49 people lived.
