Mario Alberto Molina Palma OAR (born October 13, 1948 in Panama City ) is Archbishop of Los Altos Quetzaltenango-Totonicapán .

Life

Mario Alberto Molina Palma joined the order of Augustinian recollects on August 27, 1968, professed on August 28, 1971 and the prelate of Bocas del Toro , José Agustín Ganuza García OAR, ordained him on June 29, 1975 as a priest . Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Quiché on October 29, 2004 .

He received his episcopal consecration on January 22nd of the next year by the Bishop of Jalapa , Julio Edgar Cabrera Ovalle ; Co- consecrators were Victor Hugo Martínez Contreras , Archbishop of Los Altos Quetzaltenango - Totonicapán , and Bruno Musarò , Apostolic Nuncio in Guatemala .

As a motto he chose Ut Ecclesia aedificationem accipiat . He was appointed Archbishop of Los Altos Quetzaltenango-Totonicapán on July 14, 2011 and was introduced to the office on September 17 of the same year.
