Bruno Musarò

Bruno Musarò (born June 27, 1948 in Andrano , Province of Lecce , Italy ) is a Roman Catholic Archbishop and diplomat of the Holy See .

Life

Bruno Musarò received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Otranto on September 19, 1971 .

On 3 December 1994 appointed him Pope John Paul II. To Titular Archbishop of Abari and ordered him to the apostolic nuncio in Panama . He was ordained bishop on January 6, 1995 by John Paul II; Co- consecrators were the official of the Vatican State Secretariat , Archbishop of the Curia Giovanni Battista Re , and the Secretary of the Congregation for Bishops , Archbishop of the Curia, Jorge María Mejía .

On September 25, 1999, Bruno Musarò became Apostolic Nuncio in Madagascar and Mauritius as well as in the Comoros and Seychelles . Pope John Paul II appointed him on February 10, 2004 as Apostolic Nuncio in Guatemala . On January 5, 2009 Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . to the Apostolic Nuncio in Peru . He was appointed Apostolic Nuncio in Cuba on August 6, 2011.

Pope Francis appointed him Apostolic Nuncio to Egypt and Apostolic Delegate to the Arab League on February 5, 2015 . On August 29, 2019, Pope Francis appointed him Apostolic Nuncio in Costa Rica .
