Mario Kassar

Mario Kassar (born October 10, 1951 in Beirut , Lebanon ) is a Lebanese-American film producer .


Mario Kassar founded the independent film studio Carolco Pictures together with Andrew G. Vajna , which went bankrupt in 1995 due to the financial failure of Die Piratenbraut . Kassar and Vajna have been executive producers on most of the films .

Kassar works for the film studios Columbia Pictures and TriStar Pictures .

He worked regularly with Andrew G. Vajna until 1989 , when he gave him his shares in the joint production company. In 2002, however, he teamed up again with Vajna and founded the production company C2 Pictures , primarily to produce Terminator 3 - Rebellion of the Machines (2003).
