Marion Dimali

Marion Dimali (born as Marion Krainer in Klagenfurt am Wörthersee ) is an Austrian actress , director , acting coach and cabaret writer.

Life

After studying classical solo singing at the Klagenfurt Conservatory , she took a musical course at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna . She continued her education at the Prayner Conservatory and at the Conservatory of the City of Vienna in the department for musical entertainment theater.

From 1987 to 1993 she worked as an actress, director and artistic director at the Graumann Theater. 1993 to 1995 followed a stay in the USA with training and further education ("On Camera Acting" with Rick Edelstein in Los Angeles as well as television production and direction) and moderation of a weekly television show.

Since 1995 she has worked as a freelance actress in numerous productions on stage in Vienna, both in music and spoken theater, and in film and television. As a director she stages comedy and cabaret, operetta, dramas and opera and writes cabaret, comedy and solo programs for herself and colleagues.
