Mark Feuerstein
Mark Feuerstein (born June 8, 1971 in New York City ) is an American actor . In German-speaking countries he is mainly due to his embodiment of the main role Dr. Henry "Hank" Lawson was known in the television series Royal Pains .
life and career
Mark Feuerstein was during his high school -time wrestler and won the state championship. After graduating from Princeton University in 1993, he received a scholarship to the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art . His breakthrough on US television came with a recurring role in the soap opera Loving , which was canceled in 1995. He then had numerous guest appearances in television series such as Caroline in the City , Ally McBeal or Sex and the City .
In 1998 he played the eponymous leading role in the short-lived comedy series Conrad Bloom . From 2002 to 2004, he starred in two seasons of the show Good Morning, Miami the lead role of Jake Silver beside Constance Zimmer and Ashley Williams .
For his role as Morgan Farwell in the comedy What Women Want , Feuerstein was nominated for a 2001 Blockbuster Entertainment Award as Favorite Supporting Actor in a Comedy / Romance . In 2002 he got a supporting role in the comedy A Boss to Fall in Love with , but the scenes with him were not used in the final version of the film. His role was mentioned in the credits of the film anyway. In 2005 he was seen in the film In My Sister's Shoes .
In the drama series 3 lbs. In 2006 he introduced the doctor Dr. Jonathan Seger , the series was discontinued after eight episodes. In 2009, Feuerstein was again seen as the lead actor in a series, The Hustler came to eleven episodes. Due to the large number of failed television series with Feuerstein, he was also referred to as the sitcom kryptonite or Murderer of a Thousand Sitcoms .
From 2009 to 2016 he played the leading role of Dr. Henry "Hank" Lawson in the USA network series Royal Pains . In the series, he plays a doctor who was discharged after an alleged medical malpractice and who happens to become the concierge doctor for wealthy private patients in the Hamptons .
