Career
Hurtubise began his career in the 2001/02 season with the Remparts de Québec , for which he played two and a half years in the junior league Ligue de hockey junior majeur du Québec . During the current season 2002/03 he moved within the league to the Foreurs de Val-d'Or and was there until the end of the 2004/05 season on the ice. In the 2005/06 season he was active for the Adirondack Frostbite in the United Hockey League , where he played the main round of his career with 66 points scorer.
In the summer of 2006, the Canadian moved to the East Coast Hockey League for the Long Beach Ice Dogs and scored 44 points in 71 games this season. In the 2007/08 season , Hurtubise played with the Mississippi Sea Wolves , before continuing his career the following year in Europe and joining the Edinburgh Capitals from the British Elite Ice Hockey League . There the attacker was the best scorer in the league with 30 goals and 59 assists and signed with the Swedish club Olofström IK from Division 1 for the 2008/09 season . There he was able to build on the performances from the previous year and with 35 hits and 40 assists became both the player with the highest points and the most dangerous goal in the league and with a value of 22 also had the best plus / minus statistics of all players. So Hurtubise recommended for engagements in higher leagues and moved in May 2010 within Sweden to the second division Almtuna IS .
Between 2011 and 2013 he played for Leksands IF in HockeyAllsvenskan and achieved promotion to the Svenska Hockeyligan with the team at the end of the 2012/13 season . Hurtubise then left the club and played for AIK Ishockey in the following season , before moving to the Finnish club Tampereen Ilves in the Liiga in summer 2014 . After only nine games with a total of two scorer points, the right-shooter returned to Sweden and ended the season at the second division IF Björklöven . Hurtubise began the 2015/16 season at HC Red Ice in the Swiss National League B before moving to the Krefeld Penguins in the German Ice Hockey League in December 2015 .
In July 2016 he was presented as a new addition to the EC KAC from the EBEL .
