Career
college
Fultz played a year in the NCAA for the University of Washington on the Washington Huskies basketball team. During his only season at college level, Fultz averaged 23.2 points, 5.9 assists and 5.7 rebounds .
NBA
Fultz signed up for the 2017 NBA draft and was a candidate for the first pick in many mock drafts . Eventually, he was also selected in the first place by the Philadelphia 76ers . In his first NBA game on October 18, 2017 against the Washington Wizards , he scored ten points and three rebounds. On April 11, 2018, at the age of 19 years and 317 days, Fultz became the youngest player in NBA history to score a triple-double (13 points, ten rebounds and ten assists in 25 minutes), although he did not even play in that game Initial line-up.
However, during his first year in the NBA, he suffered from shoulder problems, the cause of which remained a mystery. The complaints had a detrimental effect on his throw and Fultz played only 14 games during the main round, in which he scored an average of 7.1 points, 3.8 basket assists and 3.1 rebounds.
Fultz returned for the new season to the Sixers and completed 19 season games before he was taken out of play due to chronic shoulder problems. In February 2019, he was given up for Jonathon Simmons and draft picks to the Orlando Magic .
