Markus Tavakoli

Markus Tavakoli (born July 14, 1974 in Klosterneuburg ) is an Austrian actor , director , DJ and sound designer .

education

Markus Tavakoli received his training as an actor at the Krauss drama school in Vienna and in improvisation , coaching and theater education from Michaela Obertscheider . In 2001 Tavakoli completed the three-year training with a state-recognized diploma examination as an actor for theater, film and television with distinction.

Engagements and work

Acting engagements have taken him to the Regensburg Tower Theater , the Reduta Studio Theater in Berlin, the Phönix Theater and the Linz Children 's Theater . The Stadttheater Mödling , the SCHÄXPIR Festival Linz, the Szene Bunte Wähne Festival Vienna, the dietheater Konzerthaus and the independent scene Vienna are further stations.

As a member of the ensembles Flying Sauces (cabaret), Impromotion (improvisational theater) or TIWO ( theater in the living room ), Tavakoli proves his talents. Regular teaching activities as director of the children's courses at the Comedy School Porcia as well as workshop leader and coach for pupils at Viennese elementary and grammar schools as well as musical schools.

As a professional DJ and sound designer, he worked internationally in well-known clubs and pubs, for promotions, the New Year's Eve Trail in Vienna, the FM4 radio station and for MTV . Various engagements in sound design in the acting area allow Tavakoli to create impressive sound and music adaptations for theater plays.

As a director and author, Tavakoli works for the comedy games Porcia (Spittal an der Drau), the Schäxpir Festival and independent productions.
