Marquard Bohm
Marquard Bohm (born June 27, 1941 in Hamburg , † February 3, 2006 in Wetter (Ruhr) ) was a German actor .
Life
Marquard Bohm was the younger brother of actor and director Hark Bohm .
Bohm was one of the most famous actors in the Young German Film. He had also become internationally known through his work with Rainer Werner Fassbinder in The American Soldier and Deer Cross . He also worked with his brother Hark Bohm as well as Rudolf Thome , Wim Wenders and Helmut Herbst .
His role as kid in the film Deadlock , a German post-modern western by Roland Klick, is outstanding .
From 1986 to 2000 he worked at the Schauspielhaus Bochum under the directors Frank-Patrick Steckel and Leander Haußmann . There he was on bizarre supporting roles, v. a. specialized in productions by Jürgen Kruse and Frank Castorf .
Marquard Bohm died of heart failure in Wetter (Ruhr) after prolonged health problems .
