Marta Onofre (born January 28, 1991 ) is a Portuguese pole vaulter .
Athletic career
Marta Onofre gained her first experience in international competitions at the European Youth Olympic Festival 2007 in Belgrade , where she finished 15th. In 2011 she was eliminated from the qualification at the U23 European Championships in Ostrava, Czech Republic , as well as at the U23 European Championships two years later in Tampere, Finland . In 2014 she qualified for the European Championships in Zurich and was eliminated there with 4.15 m in the qualification. In 2015, she took eighth place at the Student World Games in Gwangju, Korea . In 2016 she took part in the World Indoor Championships in Portland , but was eliminated there in the main competition without a valid height. She again took part in the European Championships in Amsterdam , but again did not qualify for the final, as well as at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , where she was eliminated with 4.30 m in qualification . In 2017 she won the bronze medal at the Summer Universiade in Taipei with a height of 4.40 m.
She is a three-time Portuguese and indoor champion.
